Hello, my name is Leah Hilton. I am a junior at New Hartford Senior High in New Hartford, New York. I started playing lacrosse when I was in elementary school. I loved the speed of the game. When I started playing I was a midfielder because of my speed but I really enjoyed the defensive part of the game and now play defense on my club and school team. The last two club seasons I have played for Monster Elite out of Syracuse. Prior to that, I played for Orange Crush 2023. I also play Tier 1 hockey in the Fall and Winter for the 16U Rome Girls team out of Rome, New York. I am a three-season athlete and run cross country in the Fall. I have been on the varsity cross country team for three years. Our team won sectionals and went on to the State Championships in 2020 and 2021.

My academic areas of interest are architecture, engineering, and forensic science. I plan to pursue a career in one of those fields after completing college and graduate school. In my free time, I like to paint and draw, I enjoy listening to podcasts about unsolved crimes, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am an excellent student and I am currently taking two AP classes. I will be inducted into the National Honor Society this Spring. I am a member of Leadership Core at my high school and I am active in my community. My goal is to attend an academically strong college and play lacrosse at the college level.
