She is a 2020 graduate of Susquehanna University earning a bachelor of science in business administration.

She was a four-year starter in goal for the River Hawks earning All-Landmark First-Team honors in 2018 and Second-Team honors in 2019. Dex was named to the Landmark Sportsmanship Team in 2020 and to the Landmark Conference Honor Roll three times. She is a two-time team captain finishing her career with a .467 save percentage and 510 career saves. Dex was a four-year member of SAAC while at Susquehanna, serving as secretary her senior year.

Dex, who hails from Coopersburg, PA and attended Southern Lehigh High School, has coached club lacrosse for T3 West for three years.

Dex will be pursuing her MBA specializing in healthcare management at DeSales.
