Lili Sorenson
Recruit Profile
Aggressive, coachable, disciplined, dedicated, multi-sport athlete, and a competitor.
I started playing lacrosse when I was 7 and immediately fell in love with the sport. Ive been playing club for the True Lacrosse state team for 7 years and True Lacrosse national team since its inception 4 years ago. Last summer I averaged 3 points per game in our tournaments. In my freshman year of high school I was on the varsity lacrosse and the varsity field hockey teams. For my third sport I combined my love of basketball with helping others by participating in The Special Needs basketball season. On the field, I am comfortable using both hands and dodging to create space for myself as well as for my teammates. I enjoy the balance of sports and academics, as it forces me to focus on my priorities and create stability throughout my schedule. I also love volunteering at a local Feed My Starving Children food shelter and making a change in the community. My family is also very important to me. I am the youngest of six kids, three of whom are currently playing a division 1 sport in college (Brother Jack football at Miami OH; sister Sophie lacrosse at UConn; brother Will volleyball at Harvard).
