Teeters, a two-time All-American for Boston University, brings 13 years of coaching experience to the position.

Taking over the reins from interim head coach Maureen Breslin, Teeters will look to carry and build upon the success of a newly-energized program coming off a 7-0 shortened season this spring.

For the past six years, Teeters has been in the club and high school ranks after spending seven years as an assistant coach at the college level. She became the program director of Bitmore Lacrosse in Maryland in 2015 and the club owner in 2017. When Bitmore was acquired by PRIDE Lacrosse in Falls Church, Va., in 2019, Teeters became the Director of Recruiting which involved working with all six high school level teams to provide coaching, game strategy, scheduling, evaluations, and individual recruiting plans. Since taking on her new role with PRIDE, Teeters has also served as the head varsity girls lacrosse coach at Mount de Sales Academy.

At the NCAA Division I level, Teeters was an assistant coach at James Madison University from 2006-09, at George Washington University in 2009-10 and at Virginia Tech from 2010-13 where she was promoted to associate head coach before her final season. While Teeters was on staff, the Hokies posted back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in program history. They claimed victories over No. 16 Boston College in 2011 and No. 7 Virginia in 2012.

She returned to Maryland to work with Team USA as the National Teams Manager at US Lacrosse in 2013. One year later, the Assistant Athletic Director position opened up at Garrison Forest School which gave Teeters an opportunity to get back into coaching as the varsity lacrosse coach. Under her leadership, Garrison Forest had its best season in almost 15 years and ranked in the Baltimore Sun's Top 10.

After graduating from Glenelg High School in Howard County, Md., Teeters was a four-year starter at BU and two-time IWLCA All-American, helping lead the Terriers to three America East Championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a quarterfinal run in 2005. She was a four-time America East All-Conference selection and a four-time IWLCA All-Region honoree, graduating as the program's all-time leading scorer with 187 goals in 2006 - seven years before BU joined the Patriot League. Teeters, who was Lindsay Lewis in her BU days, still ranks fourth all-time in career goals for the Terriers.
