Liz Martin starts her tenure as the Neumann Women’s Lacrosse head coach in the 2020 season.

Martin takes over the program from former head coach Christy Malone Fleagle, who has transitioned into a full-time athletic director position at Neumann. Martin comes to Neumann after years of experience coaching lacrosse across the region. She has worked at both the Division I and Division III levels collegiately, most recently at Rutgers University – Camden where she served as both an assistant and head coach in her four years involved with the team. Additionally, Martin also has over eight years of experience as a Division I assistant, helping to guide programs at Marist College, University of Delaware and Saint Joseph's University.

In addition to her coaching expertise, Martin was also a standout performer herself in both soccer and lacrosse at Temple University. The 2004 Temple graduate was named a First Team All-Atlantic 10 performer in lacrosse in both the 2001 and 2002 seasons, while also being named the Atlantic 10 tournament most outstanding player in each of those seasons. Her performance on the field also helped to lead the Owls to the NCAA tournament in both of those seasons.

Martin resides in Haddon Township, N.J. with her husband, three daughters and two dogs.
