About Me:
My name is Lucia Kempton, Varsity Lacrosse defender of Stamford High School. I am an avid part of the Stamford Community, participating in 3 varsity sports: Cross Country, Ski Team, & Lacrosse; and a multitude of extra curriculars: Varsity Debate, Girl Scouts, Varsity Math Team, Chemistry Club, Volunteering, & Odyssey of the Mind.
I am an International Baccalaureate Degree Candidate at Stamford High School, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. This year I am taking AP World, and next year I will be taking seven IB classes.
Why Pick Me?
I am an incredibly determined and strong-willed player. I am skillful and strategic in my defensive footwork + stickwork to effectively prevent the opposition from scoring. I am a team player, and work hard to bring the ball back up the field to allow attack players to score. I began playing lacrosse in the fifth grade, and pride myself on my ability to handle man-down situations, as well as my man-to-man defensive skills.
I have substantial leadership skills. I am the Captain of the Varsity Ski Team at Stamford High School, and work with my teammates to better myself and others.
