I was 13 when I first picked up a lacrosse stick. I tried out for the middle school team at Solon Middle School, by that time the only knowledge of the game that I had was from YouTube videos. Tryouts never finished because my school was shut down due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The following year in 8th grade I joined the middle school lacrosse team, and that season was my first experience of playing on a team. My 9th grade year, I started 11/12 games as a defender at Solon High School as a freshman. However, I have more of a desire to be a midfielder. This is my first year on a club lacrosse team. I am comfortable dodging with both hands. I play on the JV soccer team. I've played club soccer from 10 to 14 years old. I do indoor track in the winter. I've completed honors geometry, honors biology and plan on completing a college Spanish class over the summer. I am in Spanish club, UNICEF, SADD, the Diversity Acceptance Program, and The Green Team. I play cello in the concert orchestra. Next school year I plan on taking two AP classes and one honors class. I am interested in pursuing STEM and engineering in the future.
