I started playing lacrosse with I was 6. I made the varsity team my freshman year of high school and started every game my sophomore year. I made 1st team All-Conference in 2019. I am at strong evaluating and understanding our opponents strategy, then I communicate in a loud voice to my teammates. Once they understand what the offense is trying to do we work together to stop them. My coaches have told me that I possess quick reaction speed and that they our impressed with how fast I can get to the ball. It is important to me to always be aware of my position in the goal and that I can throw and catch with both hands accurately. I value the importance of coaches and what they have to teach me. I have a 77% save average, but am constantly working to improve it. I have played for three different travel lacrosse teams, but know ProStart Lax is teaching me what it means to be a great goalie. My favorite kind of save is when the the offensive player is on the crease and I am able to save(stuff) the low percentage shot. I am also a member of the Varsity swim team for Easton High School and made it to States each year. I have taken several AP classes in Computer Science and Math. This past year I took two dual-enrollment classes through Chesapeake Community College (Communication and Art Theory). I will be taking more AP and Dual enrollment classes my senior year. I am actively involved in school activities, such as the Millionaire/Stock-market Club, but also know the importance of community services. I have over 490 volunteer hours, most of them are from working with young children to learn about the environment. I am a member of three academic societies: The National Honor Society, The Spanish National Honor Society, and The Technical National Honor Society. When I am not play lacrosse in the summer I am either working as a lifeguard to save for college.
