I started playing lacrosse when I was 6 . At the time ,the summer lacrosse camps were only offered for third grade and up . I loved the sport so much that my mom persuaded the coach to let me attend the camp even though I was only in 2nd grade. I played so well at camp that I won my first lacrosse head.
I played every year after that for my town team and started on the Brotherhood club team as soon as I was eligible in 5th grade . I played for Brotherhood Lacrosse until my summer after Freshman year . Next year I will be joining Upper Level Lacrosse Club team .
At the end of my freshman season I was called up to varsity to play in the playoff games . I was the only defender on the team that was called up . I believe I have better stick skills than most defenders, I am comfortable with the ball in my stick and I am able to clear the ball efficiently. I come up with many ground balls partly because of how aggressive my play style is, I try to utilize my size and strength as much as I can.
Currently , during the school year we have strength and agility training 3 times a week in our off season .
I play fall and summer lacrosse for the Upper Level club lacrosse team and play in a box lacrosse league in the winter .
