After high school she was a four-year member of the women's lacrosse team at SUNY Potsdam, playing for Coach Lauren Bruce. She graduated from Potsdam in 2019 and recently joined the staff here at Brockport.

She is serving as an intern in the Brockport Athletic Department this fall and will be an assistant coach for the women's lacrosse team. Mackenzie also coaches a travel team for 3D Common Goal Lacrosse, as well as gaining high school coaching experience at Aquinas in Rochester. She is currently a graduate student at Brockport and is pursuing a degree in Athletic Administration.
