I started playing lacrosse when I was 9 years old. When I began playing, I looked at the sport as a way to have fun and make new friends, but from the first game I played, I knew that not only would lacrosse be a fun way to make new friends, but also become a sport that I love. When I was younger I used to pride myself on my ability to win the draw and run from one end of the field to the other. Youth lacrosse was when I really began to see my love for the sport, this made me begin to look into lacrosse club teams near me. Thanks to lots of recommendations from older players in my youth program, we found Nor'Easter Lacrosse Club. When I started playing for Nor'Easter Lacrosse, I found my love for the defensive side of the game. I have also been fortunate enough to continue playing as a midfielder with my high school team. In my freshman year I started 12 out of our 12 regular season varsity games as a midfielder. I am very happy to have an opportunity to play both midfield and defense as it allows me to maintain my versatility on the field. I also received Foran's "assertive lion award" and offensive MVP for 2 of our games. Beyond lacrosse, I play JV basketball in the winter months and have over 175 hours of community service in the past 2 years. This year as a sophomore I am taking AP U.S. government and all level 1, honors courses for my core classes.
