I started playing lacrosse when I was in sixth grade. I immediately found myself falling in love with the sport and going out whenever I could to play. I found that my calling was in the defensive position because I always wanted to protect my goalie. I in the past played the position of goalie so by seeing it by their point of view I was able to apply that to my position as a defender. I am a multi-sport athlete who plays Basketball. As extracurricular activities, I coach a cheerleading team, play in my school's band and marching band, and work with my dad after school. Whenever I have the oppurtunity I try to give back. In the past I have spent two days going around to local homeless shelters bringing food, gifts, and clothing at Christmas time with my church. I have also volunteered at City Year on Martin Luther King Day, creating gft bags, food packages, and stuffed animals for the less forunate. On the other hand, I am very interested in clean/renewable energy and the broader term of climate change. Since I was four years old I have had a passion to go into the medical field... more specifically becoming an Anesthesiologist.
