Madison Ibach
Recruit Profile
Hello, my name is Mads! As a player I have developed a strong confidence in my Lax IQ and the ability to foresee stick lanes.
I started playing lacrosse at 7 years old. From an early age I found lacrosse to be the sport that I had the most passion for. When I was younger I started as a mid-fielder but I have now settled into the attack position with time spent as a draw-specialist. Even though scoring is definitely satisfying, I truly love a good assist! I am known by my teammates for my quick, hard passes. I look for open stick lanes and Im confident when the decision is made to send it. I have been fortunate to have had coaches who constantly encourage using both hands and enforce ball movement. I feel this has allowed me to grow as a player by being forced to look up and see the field. Being 510 definitely has helped as well! In addition, to Lacrosse I have made the Varsity soccer team Freshman, Sophomore and now my Junior year as well. I take almost all Honors classes (minus Math ). I am a member of National Honor Society and on Honor Roll. In addition to school and sports, my parents own a kids gym so I work as a coach. One of my personal goals was to save enough money to buy my own car. (Which I can proudly say I accomplished and bought a Nissan Rouge). I love working with kids, but more importantly I have learned so much about different personalities and how to effectively communicate with people in general just from coaching.
