Madison was apart of my club team at SoCal Express for one season. However, in that one season she improved so quickly that I had to move her up the next club season. Not only does she have natural athletic ability, but she works on her technique and lacrosse IQ. Even though Madison is on the quiet side, she communicates well with her teammates on offense and defense. She is a great team player and is always wanting to play more as she picked up a few extra games at Sandstorm by playing on our team. Any team would be lucky to have her as she is a player that any coach would fight for to have on their team. Both coach Olivia Smart and I have both fought for her to be on higher club teams. I have had the pleasure of coaching Madison for three years on varsity at Edison HS and for club at SoCal Express. Madison has quickly developed into one of our top midfielders. Madison is a hard working player with a lot to offer. She is a strong midfielder with a great first step. She is often the first to the ball off of draws because of her hustle and grit. Madison excels on defense because of her strong lacrosse IQ and natural abilities as a defender. She also has many abilities on attack. She is able to give a strong pass to her teammates and effectively dodge to goal. Madison has worked so hard these past few years to improve her stick skills, footwork, speed, and endurance. Her hard work off the field shows every day in her successes on the field. Madison has a great attitude, is a team player, and is extremely coachable.
