Maggie Mulvaney
Recruit Profile
4.0 GPA, extremely strategic player. Tall & fast with hard shot and great stick skills.
I began playing lacrosse in the spring of 5th grade, and started playing competitively on a club team that summer. I play attack for T3 Shore Black 2021. I have a quick, hard shot and enjoy setting up plays from the crease and elbows. I am very fast, making me a threat while transitioning the ball from defense and during a ride after a turnover. I play high school lacrosse for my hometown, Ocean Township, and was the only freshman to make varsity. As a sophomore, I was the third leading scorer on my team with 41 goals. I was chosen as a T3 All Star in 2018 and attended the Philly Invitational Showcase. I was selected to the Garden State NJ Team at the National Classic in 2017 and was also selected for the Maverick/Cascade National Classic in 2019 and played for NJ's 2020/2021 team.
I am currently a senior at the Academy of Allied Health and Science. Allied is a selective admission, county magnet school, and a National Blue Ribbon School, ranked as the 25th best school for STEM in the nation. All of my classes at Allied are taught at honors level. My curriculum is focused on health, science, and medicine. Each year I take two college level classes through Rutgers University. My GPA since freshman year has been a 4.0, unweighted. I am very involved in my school's community and participate in many clubs. I am a member of the technological and creative teams for Allied Video Morning Announcements. I am co-president of the class of 2021's Social Committee. I am a member of 4-H, Recycling Club, and a founding member of my school's Key Club. I volunteer through most of these clubs and with the Ocean Township Youth Lacrosse Program. I will be inducted into National Honor Society this fall.
In my free time, I stay as active as possible. Last year I joined Ocean Township's high school swim team in preparation for the spring lacrosse season. In the winter, I am an avid snowboarder and snowboard regularly in Upstate NY with my family and friends. I began skiing at the age of three and switched to snowboarding when I was ten. This summer, I became a beach lifeguard in Ocean Grove, NJ, a job in which I was required to strengthen myself both mentally and physically through running, swimming, and training every day.
