For over eight years, I have played lacrosse. I was first introduced to the sport in second grade when a group of local coaches developed an initiative to promote girls lacrosse in the inner city. My interests grew in the sport, so I began to play in a recreation league and joined a club team in the fourth grade. While participating on my club travel team as a goalie, I played volleyball and basketball for my middle school during the Fall and Winter sports seasons. For the Spring season, I played lacrosse and was named MVP all three years. My favorite lacrosse event thus far has been to represent Team Virginia in the Maverik National Lacrosse Classic. Since High School, I have made the LIS All Conference team and was rookie of the year at Trinity Episcopal in Richmond.
