I started playing lacrosse my freshman year, which is the first time that I had ever heard of the sport. But from the first time I had picked up a stick I knew this is what I wanted to do. I was a starting attacker my freshman year and I switched to defense the summer before sophomore year and I have never been happier. My absolute favorite thing to do on the field is intercept passes!! In my free time I volunteer through a community service program called YAT and I have a board position on this club at my high school. I am taking AP Art History and AP Environmental Science because I love learning about what has happened in the past in a visual way and I love learning about the outdoors almost as much as I love being outdoors. I also try to babysit whenever I can. I love being able to watch these amazing kids grow and see where life will take them in the coming years. And hopefully I can convince a few of them to play lacrosse along the way :)
