Natural ability combined with great work ethic makes Malik the player every coach wants. Natural leader on and off field- commands respect and attentiveness from players and opponents- motivates his team by example and with his voice First player at practice, last player to leave cliché is personified with Malik. Addicted to the grind of getting better- lax junkie. Downhill runner and dodger that excels at shooting on the run, but can also dodge east west on wings or at X. Also shines as a catch-and-shoot/time and room, step down shooter. Accuracy isn't compromised by noticeably superior shooting velocity. Versatile player- attack or midfield, scorer or passer- makes points happen. Valuable at midfield as he takes defense as seriously as offense. Big, strong, physical defender that communicates well. Malik is almost always at the top of the list of GBs. Above all, good person that will succeed at the next level.
