My name is Margaret Ferris and I started playing lacrosse at age 8 and goalie at age 9. I have been playing on Building Blocks Lacrosse Black 2022 for 6 years and have loved it from the moment I started! I am skilled in high shots both stick-side and off-side. I am also very good at maintaining great communication with my team, specifically my defense. Maintaining great relationships with both my teammates and coaches is very important to me and I am often called the "Team Mom" because I am always there for everyone. I am determined to work both on and off the field and my work ethic reflects in my play. I am proud to say that I have achieved high honor roll my first two years of high school, finished freshman year with a 4.09 GPA and finished sophomore year with a 4.2 GPA. For my junior year, I have a rigorous academic schedule with 4 AP (Language and Composition, Environmental Science, Statistics, US History) courses along with 2 honors courses (Pre-Calculus and Spanish 3). Additionally, I am a 3-year varsity player. Overall I am a very determined person and it is reflected on and off the field.
