I started playing lacrosse when I was 10. My introduction to lacrosse was late compared to many of my teammates. I would love to say the sport came naturally to me but I have had to work very hard to get to the level of play I am currently. Recently, I have found myself playing alongside some of the best high school players in our area and because of that, my game continues to improve everyday. I absolutely love the game and would like nothing more than to continue playing in college.

Defense is my preferred position but I am comfortable playing as a midfield as well. I always have a good sense of everyone on the field and I am always anticipating the next motion. I play aggressive and with a lot of effort. I find communication on the defensive side very important so I am usually always the loudest on the field. My communication skills and aggressiveness on defense help me a lot on the basketball court as well.

Coaches, both lacrosse and basketball, have always enjoyed having me on the team because I am always determined to do better and listen to what they have to say. I value my studies and am enrolled in multiple honors and AP classes and well as part of the Bio Medical program with our county career and tech center. Throughout the year I participate with my church volunteering as a helper with Children's ministries, vacation Bible school and summer mission trips to Appalachia. I believe in giving back to the community and helping others is a core value of life.
