Mario Gangemi, the Elkton High School Men's Lacrosse Head Coach, is the former President of the Delamarva Youth Lacrosse Association and the Chair Emeritus and Founder of the Cecil Lacrosse League. He has coached boys and girls of all ages in lacrosse, has coached youth football and basketball and has taught karate to adults and children.

In his younger days, Mario wrestled and played youth and high school football. He continued his wrestling career (and cross country) for his first two years of college.

In addition to a passion for youth sports, Mario also is active in the community on civic matters. He serves on the local chamber of commerce and its government relations committee and recently founded a local responsible government action organization.
