I started lacrosse in 2nd grade, only doing clinics and then joined my first Rec team starting out as a field player. Soon, I tried out the goalie position and loved it ever since. I’ve now been a goalie for 7 years. I was lucky enough to be the Varsity goalie my freshman year and finished with 115 saves, but unfortunately my sophomore year of lacrosse was lost due to Covid-19. I have played on a few travel lacrosse teams trying to find the right fit for me. I have had to work in very negative environments where I was constantly put down no matter my performance on the field. Now I am a happy member of the MadLax Capital Blue team where I feel welcomed and comfortable with every player and all coaches. I am constantly trying to improve on my goalie skills and am lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with many coaches. I love learning many different techniques from different coaches to see what works best for me and my playing style. I ran Varsity track my freshman year and participated in Varsity field hockey my sophmore year and hope to continue further in field hockey. Other than lacrosse, I am enrolled in a biomedical program at my school, Osbourn Park, and will be taking a nursing class my senior year to work for my future medical career. I have received a Varsity letter for having a 3.75 GPA. I also am a self taught artist. I am constantly filling up a wall in my room with more and more paintings of mine. My love for the sport of lacrosse is tremendous and hope to play in college.
