I’ve been playing lacrosse for about 9 years, and I am currently a Junior at Orchard Park High School. In my freshmen year, I mainly played as a faceoff man and won about 79% of the faceoffs. I have been a wrestler for the past 3 years, and it helps me a lot with reaction time for taking faceoffs and strength/ power. I’ve been doing faceoffs for over 3 years and have worked with Mike Moran this past summer to get better with my stance, technique, and speed. I play for Buffalo Lacrosse Accademy in the summer and fall, and I really love playing there because they have very involved coaches. I also played school soccer, and I was able to connect similar concepts in soccer to lacrosse.
