When I started playing lacrosse six years ago, I knew that I had found the sport that I wanted to play throughout my life. Playing lacrosse felt natural to me, so I was able to learn quickly and improve my game during my first season. In my second youth club season I moved up to U15, which challenged me to improve in order to keep up with more experienced players. In high school I started my first eight games as a freshman on the JV team as an attacker before being moved up to Varsity. Our team recorded the first winning season in program history.

I have played three summers and one winter season with the Sacramento Aces and enjoy playing with other committed players from all over Northern California. I value teamwork and contribute by using my speed to chase down an opponent, snag grounders, bring the ball down the field, or take it to the cage. I can always be counted on to get a loose ball out of a pile, and am always happy to provide an assist.

I am a hard-working student, and have made the honor roll every semester of my high school career. I have volunteered more than 225 hours in my community over the last two years. One of my favorite volunteer activities is assisting coaches on my former youth lacrosse team with practices and on game days. My goal is to attend a top-notch college where I can continue to play lacrosse. This summer I worked on the game day operations staff of our local minor league baseball team which helped me decide that I'd like to remain connected with sports in my career. I am interested in exploring studying sports management, marketing, or broadcast journalism.
