Max Lippman
Recruit Profile
Speedy faceoff midfielder who dominates X. Known for his quick hands and powerful presence on the field not only as a fogo but a dodger and scorer. 84% face/win
I have been playing lacrosse since I was 12 years old. Realizing I had entered the lacrosse world late, I knew that I would have to work twice as hard as the rest of my peers. My first year trying out in Middle School I did not make the final cut. I didn't get discouraged; instead I asked to be the team manager and attended practice in order to learn all I could. I remained steadfast in my dedication and hard work and came back the next year to be the starting FO/Mid for the team. My season ended with 14 goals with an 84% FO/win. I pride myself in my ability to adapt to different types of situations on the lacrosse field. The faceoff X and my ability to dominate the 50/50 battles, which I learned from Greg Gurenlian, faceoff specialist for team USA, the New York Lizards and PENN State alumni, are strengths of mine. I have received training with the 2017 Tenacious Turtles and I am a current member of the Faceoff Academy. I was accepted to the 2014 Faceoff Academy National Recruiting Showcase, along with being awarded with being in the elite 8 of the FLG Faceoff Recruteing Showcase.
My favorite athlete is Greg Gurenlian of the New York Lizards, who is also one of my Faceoff Academy coaches. I have learned such a great deal from him and aspire to become the best player I can through my hard work, dedication, and genuine passion for lacrosse. My favorite sports movie is "Crooked Arrows" because I can relate to the underdog that perseveres and thrives to become not only a team player but also an asset. As I look to the future, I hope to find colleges that can incorporate my passions for lacrosse, physical fitness, and the arts. music and ballet have been a very large part of my life since I was very young. Throughout my music and dance career I have been very honored to be able to play with the Division 1 and 2 SCMEA band as well as receive 4 perfect scores on my NYSSMA performances. I also pride myself in my physical fitness, placing 2nd in my school in the athletic decathalon. It is my goal to attend a D1 or D2 lacrosse school where I can study physical therapy/rehabilitation
