Recruit Profile
I've had to earn my way on every team Regional to State AAA. Team first, coachable, Smart, determined, respectful, even temper, high Academic achiever. Love lacrosse and school.
People who know me say that I am good-natured, competitive, respectful, coachable, team-oriented, committed, hard-working, and academically focused. My parents have taught me to work hard, be a good person and get along with others.
I started playing lacrosse at 9 years old because I wanted to play a sport with my friends. 6 years ago, I gave faceoff a shot and loved it. I love going head-to-head with other players and my even-demeanor and short memory make me suited for the position. I also played soccer and basketball until 8th grade and wrestled JV in 9th.
Lacrosse has taught me that you need to put the time in to get better and if you want to make a team and stay on a team, you have to keep pushing at all times, work as a team and motivate yourself and others around you. At the faceoff position you have to be smart and you learn how to overcome adversity and pressure since it's very difficult to win all of your faceoffs and a lot rides on possession.
I've earned my way onto every team I've been on. I earned a state tryout at my first True tryout, but didn't make State. The next year, again I received a State tryout invite, but lost out. However, the coaches asked me to keep coming to State practices and I earned a roster spot mid-year. True MN 2023 AAA has been ranked in the top-100 3 years in a row and I am the sole faceoff specialist. This level of play has pushed me to be my best. I practice every day and do what I can to be better at the position, better at lacrosse and a better teammate.
Academics are my top priority and I am a member of the National Honor Society and I take challenging AP and honors courses. Without good academic performance I will not achieve my academic and lacrosse goals. I am very interested in engineering and business and I attend Benilde-Saint Margaret's due to its well-respected academics and I will be able to continue to play lacrosse for their program that is best in state and also recognized nationally.
My academic focus, work ethic, team focus and attitude will make me a good fit for any opportunity I am fortunate enough to earn.

Max is a smart, quick-handed FOGO. His hand speed gives him an edge on the competition and his IQ allows him to make the adjustments mid-snap in order to win possessions. Max is comfortable both knee down and stand up.
