A multi-sport athlete that is coachable, self motivated, hard working, competitive, and a great teammate.
I began playing lacrosse in kindergarten. For my school, I played JV lacrosse in 7th and 8th grade. At the end of my 8th grade season, I was pulled up to the Varsity team. I played on the Varsity team for my 9th and 10th grade seasons. I began playing club lacrosse in 7th grade. I am a strong midfielder and am comfortable using my right and left hands when passing, catching, and shooting. I have a strong lacrosse I.Q. and see the field well. I also play on the Varsity basketball team. I am learning to play golf to participate on the girls golf team that my high school is starting this fall. I am interested in engineering. I am taking biomedical science courses through Project Lead the Way, along with my other classes at school. I enjoy volunteering with our youth lacrosse players and teaching them the game of lacrosse. Also, when I am off the field, I love to spend time with family and friends.

Megan Schillinger has played basketball for me for 4 years, most recently on my Varsity team at Rush Henrietta High School. Megan is an extremely hard worker who has been willing to put in many extra hours of practice to improve her game. She is an excellent listener, and a leader by example. Many of our players have been motivated by her efforts. The amount of improvement she has made in her game over a short period of time has been remarkable. Megan is also a high level student, making the same type of efforts in the classroom as she does on the basketball court. She currently carries a 95 average. The words leader, respect, and effort are words that clearly describe Megan…she is a joy to coach, and a wonderful young lady to be around. Anything she is a part of automatically becomes better.
