I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade for my town lacrosse program where I played up a grade from 5th through 8th grade. I began playing club lacrosse in 5th grade and came to play for DEWLAX in 7th grade where I currently play on the 2022 Black team primarily as a defender. In 2019 tried out for both the 2022 Maverick regional NJ team and the 2022 Brine All America team where I was offered spots on both rosters. I chose to play for Brine where my team placed 2nd in our bracket. My coach relied on me in all positions and said I was a strong contributor to our team's success. While playing on the required Freshman team in my HS, I was asked to play up on the JV team whenever our schedules allowed. Before our HS season was postponed this past year due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, I was placed on and practiced with the varsity team. Academically I am a strong, dedicated student. My current unweighted GPA is 3.4. I completed Spanish 3&4 Honors and have been a member of our Leo Club - a community service oriented club. Each year my family participates in a local food bank project called Food Stock. Through the organization I arranged a food collection in my surrounding neighborhoods where I collected over 400 pounds of food towards the cause. On the day of the main event my family and I volunteer at various stations throughout the day. I am proud to help and give back to the community.
