I started lacrosse in 3rd grade and have been playing for 8 years. Ive played soccer, basketball, and volleyball. I started goalie in 4th grade and have stayed with it since. Even though I love being a goalie, I will occasionally get to play attack which is pretty fun because I usually score. I volunteer at the Holy Comforter Lutheran Church for summer camp and I am in my high schools band. I currently play for Kingwood Ladies Lacrosse, Houston Hot Sauce, played for 2023 3D Lacrosse Houston in 2020, and just recently guest played for Mass Elite at the Champions Cup (we won 3 out of 4 games and I had a save percentage of .65%). My main academic interests are science and math, but I also really enjoy theatre, piano, and playing clarinet in the band. I earned enough points my freshman year to be inducted into the International Thespian Society. I just completed my sophomore year of high school with a 4.3 GPA out of 5 and I rank 288 out of 744. Most of my classes last year were honors--Pre-AP English 2, Pre-AP Chemistry, Pre-AP German 3, and Pre-AP Geometry. This summer I am taking Honors Government and Economics through the local community college. Next year I will be taking AP English 3, AP Environmental Science, Algebra 2 Pre-AP, US History DC, and AP Seminar. My goals for college include studying at a school with a strong Biology program and playing lacrosse. I hope one day to work in the field of Wildlife Biology or as a researcher studying viruses and how to treat them.
