Coach Bagnasco enters his third year as the William Peace University Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach.

Prior to joining the WPU women's lacrosse coaching staff, Coach Michael Bagnasco spent eight years as a women's lacrosse coach at the varsity and elite travel level. Over that time Coach Bagnasco's teams won five conference titles, multiple tournament championships, produced three high school All Americans, several All Metro and All Conference players, and were awarded the South Wake Athletic Conference player of the year honors for five straight years. Coach Bagnasco was the South Wake Athletic Conference coach of the year in 2015 and 2018 and has served the women's lacrosse community as the US Lacrosse All American Chair for the North Carolina Region and the US National Tournament NC team director and head coach.

Coach Bagnasco, a Long Island native, played DI football at Wagner College in Staten Island, NY where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and Social Work. He went on to earn his Masters of Arts Degree in Physical Education from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. Coach Bagnasco is also a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified Performance Enhancement Specialist and a physical education teacher at Apex High School in Apex, NC
