Profile
Michael Daly is in the fifth season of his second stint as an assistant coach for the Saint Anselm women's lacrosse program in 2020-21.

With 172 wins as a Head Coach at the NCAA Division I and II level, Daly is ranked ninth all-time in NCAA Division II women's lacrosse history with a .642 career winning percentage and brings many years of expertise to the Hawks sidelines. As the Head Coach at Stonehill College from 1998-2007, Daly recorded a win-loss record of 140-27 (.838), claiming NCAA Division II national championships in 2003 and 2005 while finishing as the national runner-up in 2002.

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II National Coach of the Year in 1999, 2003 and 2005, Daly coached 26 IWLCA All-Americans, including a Division II Player of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year. His team also finished as the national semifinalists in both 2001 and 2007.

Daly's Skyhawks dominated the Northeast-10 Conference during his tenure, capturing NE10 tournament championships from 2000 to 2007 and posting an overall record of 83-2 in league play. Daly was selected as the conference's Coach of the Year in 1999 and then from 2002-06.

After his tenure at Stonehill, Daly assisted the women's lacrosse team at the University of New Hampshire in 2008 before his promotion to Head Coach in 2009. From 2009-12, Daly guided the Wildcats to 23 victories and a pair of America East Conference championship appearances. Each season the Wildcats ranked in the top tier of Division I teams for caused turnovers and ground balls, a testament to UNH's transition defense and team's focus on taking pride in the ride, a hallmark of Daly's tenure. In his first season at the helm, Daly guided the 'Cats to a 10-7 overall record in which they started the season 4-0 and climbed as high as No. 15 in the national poll.

Daly also enjoyed coaching success at UNH as an assistant for the program during the 2007-08 season, helping lead the Wildcats to an NCAA Championship at-large bid, a 13-6 record and No. 13 final ranking, nationally.

He served as the Head Coach of the Merrimack College women's lacrosse team from 2013-16 after assisting the Hawks during the 2013 women's lacrosse season.
