He was the Poughkeepsie Journal's Girls Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2015, and after the Warriors won the league championship in 2017, he was named the Hudson Valley Sports Report Coach of the Year. Galantich had a prior stop as an Assistant Coach at Millbrook High School. He remains the Program Manager and Head Girls Lacrosse Coach for the Northstar Naturals.

A graduate of Mount St. Mary College with a B.A. in Business Administration, Galantich recently retired after more than 34 years as a Project and Operations Manager at Con Edison.
