Since I was first introduced to the sport of lacrosse at the age of 7 by my Uncle David, who played lacrosse at The Citadel, I have kept a stick in my hand. While I have excelled at all sports I have tried and played, lacrosse has been such a great fit for my physical and mental game. At the same age that I was introduced to lacrosse, I was also diagnosed with epilepsy. While I have the kind of epilepsy that I will outgrow, I have learned that staying active and playing to my strengths has kept me focused and has not let my diagnosis define me.

In 2017, I became the first 7th grader to ever make the Varsity Lacrosse team at Edgewood Jr/Sr High School. This was a well earned spot, but was not accepted easily by juniors and seniors who did not make the Varsity team. I was tested daily by much older players for my spot, as any JV player could challenge a Varisty player's spot on the team. My abilities, combined with my willingness to do whatever was needed for the team, quickly won out, and I soon earned the respect of my teammates. I am also extremely coachable and aggressive in any position I play.

Since I entered 7th grade, I have been interested in marine biology. I have chosen to take advanced Science Research for the past three years, and am currently doing a project involving hydroponics. I hope to get a degree in Marine Biology and study sea animals. I have always lived on the east coast, and enjoy being near the water.

While pursuing a degree, I would also like to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. I follow instructions well and would be an asset to any team or organization, whether on the lacrosse field or in the classroom.
