Michael Murro
Recruit Profile
Very coachable, team leader and player, good sportsmanship, high lacrosse IQ, hardworking, athletic.
I started playing lacrosse at the age of 7 for my town team. Since then it has been nothing but an up hill battle coming from a small lacrosse school, known for football. I became a goalie my first year of playing and since then have spent numerous hours attending training sessions, coaching, camps or practicing in the back yard, I was unable to finish my 8th grade and freshman year of varsity lacrosse both due to injury that left me wanting to get better. This past season I received the awards of all division and team mvp as well as the bob hoppey classic mvp. I am a consistent goalie who can be loud on the field and limit miscommunications on defense. My save percentage my sophomore year on Long Island was above 60%. In taking AP us history, pre calculus honors, and an AP engineering class my junior year and I am on the track of graduating with an advanced regents diploma.
