I started playing sports when I was 3 years old playing soccer. I was always aggressive and fast and started playing lacrosse when I was 9 years old. I played rec lacrosse for Rumson Fair Haven and really loved playing. My first club lacrosse team was T3 when I was in the 6th grade. I loved playing against teams from other states and top competition. My second year at T3 I really started to like playing defense. I loved the challenge of playing defense and really excelled. My second year with T3 I was selected to the T3 All Star team. It was a very exciting team to make as I competed for a spot against T3 Shore, Central and North. I was able to play in a National Invitational Tournament against the best competition in the country. It was a great experience I will never forget. During these years, I also played travel soccer in the fall and Rumson Fair Haven Youth Travel Lacrosse in the spring. I had so much fun on these local teams and made some great friends growing up playing sports. My eight grade year was an exciting year for Lacrosse. I was selected to play for the first ever All Lax Select team to play for Megan Douty, our hometown US National Team member. I went to clinics and always looked up to Megan so I was thrilled to be selected by her and her club to play for the premier team on the Jersey Shore. On All Lax, I have learned to play the game at a high level and it has prepared me for my current high school team the Rumson Fair Haven Bull Dogs. In my sophomore year, I have lead my JV team on ground balls and draw controls. I was a starting mid fielder and it was great experience to play a different position. Our varsity team has made it to the final 4 in the tournament of champions. I have been called up to Varsity multiple times and have dressed in our State Championship games. I love being part of a winning program with great tradition. I cant wait for my number to be called in 2022. When not playing lacrosse, I am spending time with my family and friends enjoying life. I babysit for multiple families to make money and have a 3.96 GPA.
