Morgan Carroll
Recruit Profile
Coachable goalie with quick hands, good field vision, communicative and team first mentality
I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade and I only played goalie. I fell in love with the sport. My older brother and younger sister are goalies. We all help each other out.I was a starter my freshman year on varsity. I received All-FCIAC and Honorable Mention at the end of the season. I received the Rookie of the Year award at my High School as well. I love watching men's lacrosse so I implement things that I see that the men goalies are doing such as stepping out of the cage in clears, intercepting balls, running up the field, driving my body to the ball, and getting loose ground balls. I play varsity field hockey and I also perform in school productions and sing in the Chamber Choir. I am taking IB Spanish, Honors English 3, and AP Psychology. My intended major is psychology or neuroscience. During the summer, I work at a camp (Long Ridge Camp) and I also coach and work with goalies for the junior lacrosse league in my town. I am constantly working on getting myself to the next level. Whether it be watching film 24/7, taking notes on other goalies, working on my fitness, getting extra shots after practice or at home, going to clinics and showcases, or even practicing with the boys (anything to up my game).
