I started playing lacrosse in eighth grade, and fell in love with the sport and grew a strong passion for it ever since. I work hard to better myself each practice and am always willing to take advice or critiques from my coaches or upperclassmen teammates. Although I am a defensive player, I am able to read and anticipate offensive plays, or just drives and passes in general. I am not afraid to talk on the field, and I am able to connect with my teammates and listen to what they have to say. I always have my head on a swivel, and am ready to slide, crash, or switch at any moment. I am quick on my feet, and am always looking for a smart pass to the midfielders and attackers when taking the ball up the field, and although I am a righty, I am not afraid to use my left hand. I am always open to improve my defensive game and become an overall stronger defender.
Last year, I started every single game in my middle school lacrosse career. By my freshman year, I was named a "key newcomer" to my high school varsity team and was starting varsity by the seventh in season game, and then started each in season and post season game after that. This year, I joined the True Lacrosse PA Valley club team where my team and I placed first in our division at the NXT All American tournament.
Off of the field, I play varsity fieldhockey, and volunteer to help coach the youth lacrosse program in my area. This past school year, I was enrolled in all honors courses as well as one AP course(AP Computer Science Principles), and ended the year with a 4.59 GPA. I plan to continue taking honors courses and take even more AP courses, such as AP World History, AP Psychology, and more, throughout the rest of highschool. I participate in many school clubs, such as Student Government Association, Model UN, Debate Team, FBLA, MiniTHON, and Leo Club(Secretary). In college, I plan on majoring in political science, and later attending law school.
