I have played school and club lacrosse since the third grade. I have grown to 6'7"/190 lbs. and gravitated to close defense during that time. I have also migrated to basketball (school and AAU) and find skill sets to be complimentary. As a result of my height, I have become a contributing member of our school's volleyball team and won a league JV Championship in my freshman year. I have been elected a captain of all three sports teams that I have played on at school. I have also benefitted as both a person and athlete through participation in the Adidas AAU basketball program, and through participation in American Volleyball Association events. I have been placed in Gilman School's honors track in science, math, and foreign language since Grade 6. I maintain an "A" average and will continue on that track until graduation. I enjoy building and programming computers, have taken computer classes outside of school, and have hosted a number of safe/secure servers. Community service is a key computer of the Gilman School experience, and I have volunteered innumerable times in support of community and educational volunteer services. As a lacrosse player I have been fortunate to have been mentored by many fantastic coaches including Casey Powell, Brooks Matthews, Pat March, Sr. and Colin Snyder. I am a "classic" defenseman who relies on a geometric application of skills, and an awareness of anticipating the my own movement, as well as that of my teammates so that we present a coordinated and collaborative "unit" at all times.
