I have always found success through sports which led me to play not just lacrosse but soccer and volleyball, all at a competitive level. Lacrosse, however, became my favorite sport as soon as I began to play. I currently play fly midfield on the defensive side for my HS team. This position enables me to use my speed as well as stick skills on transitions and I am comfortable taking the ball over the restraining line. I currently play for Liberty Lacrosse 2021 Black. I value community service. I volunteer for my church Respite program, working with special needs children as well as the church youth ministry. In addition I am involved with a variety of service activities through the United Federation of Teachers, including their two annual holiday events for homeless children. When people ask me to tell them something about myself that is unique, I explain that when I was young my grandmother taught me to crochet, I use this skill to make scarves for the homeless. I maintain a GPA of 3.3, and belong to both the Fashion Club and Anti-Bullying club.
