Natalie is the definition of an all-around player and she does everything on the field. As a tall, left-handed player, Natalie is a difficult matchup for defenses and knows how to get to her spots. Natalie has a very powerful shot and is also accurate with it. She led our team in goals last summer. She is also a very good playmaker and is always looking for teammates if a drive is stopped. Additionally, Natalie takes draws for our team. She uses her height and timing when the ball is in the air and has great length and stick skills to get to the ball on the ground. Natalie is also a hard worker defensively - she is always in the right spots to help/slide and is a great outlet for our goalies to start the team in transition. Finally, Natalie is a great leader and person. Our team atmosphere is very welcoming and there is a culture of working hard to get better. Natalie sets that tone for our team.

As a sophomore, Natalie Thomas quickly took on a leadership role in our midfield. She led the team in draw controls and ground balls and was in second for goals last season. She is a player with speed, excellent stick skills, and composure on the field. Natalie is an athlete who sees the whole field. She is a very unselfish player who reads the field to see what player has the best opportunity, and she works to get them the ball. Natalie has always been a player who tries to improve. She is constantly asking what more she can do to better herself as a player, and she always listens to coaches and implements what they say. You can put her anywhere on the field, and she will know exactly what she is supposed to do. Overall, Natalie is a determined, hardworking, and focused lacrosse player.
