I started playing lacrosse in first grade, it quickly became my focus when I started playing club for 802 Lacrosse in sixth grade. As a lacrosse player, I pride myself on causing turnovers and clearing the ball upfield quickly, I use my speed to support my teammates when they need it. I play field hockey in the fall, where I have gone from the freshman team to starting on varsity, making the state finals, and winning Burlington Free Press athlete of the week honors. I race for CVU's varsity Nordic team in the winter, competing in weekly 5k races. I've maintained straight A's throughout high school, including in challenging classes like AP Calculus and AP Biology, along with dual-enrollment psychology at the University of Vermont. I have a wide range of academic interests, especially in the science field, and a goal of mine is to become fluent in Spanish. I'm heavily involved in promoting mental health awareness in school, doing so through my membership in Athletic Leadership Council, Hope Happens Here, and Bring Change 2 Mind. I recently started a Morgan's Message chapter at CVU, in an effort to dissolve the stigma surrounding mental health in athletics.
