I have been playing lacrosse since I was 5. It was my sisters who got me into the game, but I have found it to be my passion. I started out at midfield, but my team needed a goalie so I volunteered and the rest is history. I found I was most at home in the cage, facing down shots rather taking them and have never looked back, that was age 8. I have dedicated myself ever since to studying film of goalies I admire in college and professional lacrosse, adapting my style to fit my strengths, and training with Goaliesmith and anyone who can teach me more about my position and the game. I love the challenge of the unsavable shots, and can become the extra man on the field out of the cage with saves that rapidly translate into transitional goals with my clears. I believe that even when we are down, I can create positive energy for my team and always believe in the "next shot" mentality. I am a 4.0 student now after my Freshman year in school. I volunteer many hours a month as an alter server in my church as well as helping teach younger kids the same love of lacrosse I have. I enjoy golf, and when not practicing lacrosse I look for any excuse to get on the course, even challenging my coaches to friendly matches.
