When I was 5, I started participating in lacrosse clinics and eventually began playing at the midfield position on town travel and club teams. In middle school, my coaches saw my strong defensive skills and field IQ and asked that I play more defense. I am a versatile player comfortable playing man-on-man defense, establishing strong body position, limiting fouls, knowing when to shoot or pass, having strong communication skills, and playing well under pressure.

The summer after freshman year I went to Costa Rica and volunteered in community medical clinics through the Broadreach program. Both freshman and sophomore year, I played soccer in attack and center midfield positions. I also volunteered through a school club, Project Interact, that allowed me to participate in meaningful community service projects. This past summer, I helped set up and run a neighborhood babysitting program for children 8 and under.
