Nina Winter
Recruit Profile
puts team first, aggressive and committed multi-sport athlete, coachable player on and off the field, good lax IQ, can use height as advantage.
I have been playing lacrosse since I was seven years old. The game came easy to me early on which allowed me to play-up each year in age-group association play where I was often the leading scorer in goals and assists. As an 8th grader I lettered with the Prior Lake High School team that went on to win the Minnesota State Championship.
I have developed a unique mix of lacrosse skills that take advantage of my height and strength. While known as a strong two-way player, I am confident going to the net using both hands with a strong finish, while also having the vision to see opportunities for assists. I have the footwork and stick skills to defend the other teams best players and provide quick offensive transitions on turn-overs.
I am a multi-sport athlete playing varsity hockey since 8th grade. I take AP world History, honors Math and English, and this is my 4th year taking Spanish. I volunteer with youth mentor programs for both lacrosse and hockey as it has been a big part of how I have found success in my career.
