I started playing lacrosse when I was in the 2nd grade and for my club team the summer of the 4th grade. I started playing attack for the first 4 years. Then one day for my town PAL Team, my coach asked for someone to play defense. I volunteered and fell in love with the position. I asked my club to play defense and it soon became my permanent position for school team and club. As I grew up, I continued to play defense and started all 15 games for my Middle School and Freshman year of high school lacrosse team. I am determined to do whatever it takes to benefit my team.
Other then Lacrosse I have been in Girl Scouts since Kindergarten and I have received my Bronze and Silver Awards from Nassau County. I also work and teach young children Lacrosse skills in a program ran by my town called Mini Laxers. One of the best feelings I get is when I volunteer in SEPTA meetings, where I babysit for children with special needs.
