I have been playing lacrosse with my two older brothers, since the age of 7. Some of my very first experiences with lacrosse have been training and competing with girls 3 and 4 years older than me. This initial introduction shaped me into the competitive and mature player I am today. I have played all over the state of New Jersey with T3 Elite(known as, Jersey Shore Select), Building Blocks Lacrosse, and now, All Lax Select. This variety has taught me a lot about being able to match my team mates, and continuing to strive to be the best I can be. All Lax Select was an amazing opportunity that I am thankful for everyday.
I have obtained 25+ volunteer hours through the Horizons program at my middle school, in which I help to teach underprivileged kids in a summer school environment. I have also been recently inducted into the Pear Leadership Program at RFHRHS. I will be helping guide incoming freshman by setting a positve example and being there to help whenever I am needed. Lastly, I am awaiting National Honors Society and Math National Honors Society.
Overall, I am very interested in continuing to study art, aswell as math.
Outside of lacrosse, I have found immense success through my participation in the Rumson Fair-Haven HS Varsity Surf Team. In my very first season I became the top women's surfer on my team, placing top 12 in women's short board on the North East. I was also hand selected from a group of seven girls to participate in the State Competition as a sophomore.
Aside from school activities, I am a captain on a summer swim team. I help to teach young kids the fundamentals of swimming, as well as assisting in the organization of the meets. I have been a member of the team for the past 11 years.
During my sophomore year I took three honors courses, English, History, and Math. Next year('21, '22), I plan to take 2 APs(English and History) as well as 2 honors(Art and Math). I participate in the RFH Fashion Club, Environment Club, and Storytelling Club.
