My lax background is different than a lot of my peers as I have not played that long. I work hard at the academic part of school and have an overall GPA of 4.071. This year I have two AP classes & three Honors classes.

Soccer was my first field sport; I played club soccer starting at four through ten years old. I played wing and goalie. Last year I played for my high school team as a fullback and won the Team Award.

A swimmer & diver for 12 years, I have participated in the Junior Olympics (regionally) in two strokes. I have won a Coaches' Award & Most Improved. As a diver I have been the High Point Award winner for my age group four years and have finished in the top five divers at Champs six years.

I tried lax for the first time in fifth grade for my middle school. My Middle School had a JV & Varsity team in 7th and 8th grade. I made the 8th grade Varsity team as a 7th grader. I played club lax for the first time as a 13 year old with the Stars Club in Northern Virginia. I played with VAMetro for a year and then made Pride where the coaching is stronger. Lax has become my favorite sport even though I have had to battle stress fractures in my feet. Starting at 12 through 15 I was in and out of a boot several times. As a result I have only played about 50 games. Finally my orthopedic removed my sesamoid bone in my right foot. A four to five month recovery stopped my forward progress in high school lax. Playing with my club team in the summer and fall of 2019 I started to make better decisions on offense, not always feeding the ball for the assist but taking more shots.

I have been using Covid time to work on better placement of my shots and to develop a left-handed shot. My team did participate in one tourney this summer butI could not go due to a quarantine. We are starting to go to tourneys again and I will continue to work on shot accuracy and field awareness.
