I have been playing lacrosse since kindergarten. I started as a midfielder my freshman year on the High School Varsity team. I also play as a starter on my school's Varsity Basketball Team, as well as the JV Volleyball team. As a junior next year, I will be taking AP and IB classes. I have been on the principals high honor since 6th grade. My current weighted GPA is a 101.3 as well as wanting to go into the medical field. For both my freshman and sophomore year I was named the Unsung Hero Award by Suffolk County in lacrosse. Additionally, I was on the 2024 Watch List by Long Island Lax Journal. I was chosen to be a Team Up For Unity Member, where we meet with other schools to create unity in sports all around Long Island. Additionally, I was inducted into the National Honors Society.

Payton is an extremely intelligent player that has a high lacrosse IQ both offensively and defensively. Her IQ and versatility allow her to play ANY position on the lacrosse field. Defensively she communicates well with her teammates in all situations. Offensively she has an excellent knack for finding space and can finish with both hands as well as take it to the cage when the opportunities present themselves. Payton is a high character teammate that any coach would love to have on their team.
