I am a lefty midfielder currently playing for LI Empire Lacrosse, my club team, and for my varsity team at Locust Valley High School. I lead both teams in goals and total points, and also lead my club team in assists. I take great pride in my defense as well; I enjoy matching up with the other teams best and fastest girls. Unfortunately, my freshman varsity lacrosse season was lost due to Covid, but this season I finished with a team leading 48 goals and 18 assists placing me amongst the scoring leaders for Nassau County. I was recently named All County and team MVP . I have been selected for this summers 2023 Under Armour 150 Showcase at Gerstell Academy in Finksburg, MD. I am very interested in playing highly competitive lacrosse in college.Ever since I started playing lacrosse at age 7, my speed separated me from everyone else on the field. On top of that, I have a strong ability to handle pressure due to the fact that I'm face guarded and double teamed in almost every sport I play. As well as lacrosse, I start on varsity basketball and soccer, and during Covid when basketball hadn't been cleared yet, I participated in varsity track for about a month. Some of my athletic accomplishments to date are: All County Honorable Mention as a freshman and All County and top ten scorer in Nassau County as a sophomore in basketball, All Conference as a freshman and All County Honorable Mention as a sophomore in soccer, and 1st place in Nassau County for 200M (26.18) in track.Playing multiple sports has also allowed me to develop an extremely high IQ and learn how to be an effective team player and difference maker. I bring a high amount of energy to any team I'm on and I display leadership by having fun with my team while also encouraging them to stay focused and on task. Because of this, I've been named captain following my sophomore season for basketball, and I was the first player ever to be named captain that wasn't a senior. I am a diligent and dedicated student who has made the high honor roll in each quarter of my high school career thus far, and have also earned placement in the National World Language Honor Society. I have a 100.95 average while taking all honors/AP/now IBofyarsityeam.
