Philip Mazzuca is an Oakville, Ontario Canada based LSM / Long Pole who has played lacrosse since he was 8 years old. Philip is currently playing as a LSM / Long Pole for the Edge 2019 Prep Team and has as well represented the Oakville Hawks in both rep box and field lacrosse since he started playing in 2007. Philip plays defence for his AAA Hockey club team the Oakville Rangers as an Assistant Captain. Philip is a left handed and his greatest strengths are, speed, tenacity, communication skills and his ability to move the ball. Philip is an extremely athletic individual who thrives on directing the defence and getting involved in the game. Philip’s goals are to attend a Division 1 Lacrosse school where he hopes to study Business and Law

Key Accomplishments: Philip Mazzuca represented Team Ontario in the Canadian Box Lacrosse Nationals in Vancouver in August 2014 where he was one of the game’s MVP and won the National Championship. Philip has been selected to play for Team Ontario Midget Box 2016. Philip has also played for the major Box team on his club team the Oakville Hawks as a minor. Philip’s most recent accomplishments also include winning the NSCLA Championship (June 2014) in Richmond, Virginia. Philip’s club team, the Oakville Hawks, won the Provincial “A” Level Championship in 2013 Field and were silver medalists in Box. In 2014, Philip was a silver medalist in the Provincial Field & Box Championships and was chosen as a 1st Team All-Star by the Ontario Lacrosse Association in 2014.
